Privacy statement
No small print, just plain words. This is what happens to your data when you visit this website or get in touch with us.
Who is responsible?
Fearless John is a trade name of Option Facilities NV, Zandvoortstraat C8, 2800 Mechelen, Belgium, company number 1040.586.801, RPR Antwerp, Mechelen division. We are the controller for the personal data you share through this website or in your contact with us.

What data do we process, and why?
This website has no database, no accounts and no newsletter: it stores no personal data itself. We process your data in three situations.
You dare us. Through the Dare us form, by email or by phone you share your name, your email address and your message. The form forwards your message to us as an email through the email service Resend, or opens your own mail app if that fails: your message is not stored on this website. We use that data to answer your question, work out a proposal and follow up on a possible collaboration. Legal basis: the steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to whoever contacts us. We keep your message for as long as the follow-up runs. If it becomes a collaboration, we keep it for as long as that lasts, plus the statutory retention periods for contracts and accounting.
You apply for a job. You send us your CV, your motivation and your contact details by email. We use them solely to assess your application and run the selection. Legal basis: the steps that precede a possible employment contract, and our legitimate interest in finding the right people. After the procedure we keep your data for at most one year, unless you expressly ask us to keep it longer for future openings.
You visit the website. Our hosting provider records technical data about every visit: your IP address, browser type, time and the pages requested. Those server logs serve to keep the website secure and stable and to trace errors; we do not use them to profile you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website. The logs are kept briefly, according to our hosting provider's standard periods.
Data outside the EU
Vimeo and Google are American companies. For the transfer of your data to the United States they rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We prefer to choose our own service providers within the European Economic Area; where that is not possible, the same safeguards apply.
Security
This website runs entirely over a secure connection (HTTPS). Your messages and applications are accessible only to the crew members who follow them up. And because the website itself stores no data, there is no database of visitor data either.
Your rights
The GDPR gives you a set of rights over your data:
- access: know which data we hold about you;
- rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
- erasure: have your data deleted when we no longer need it;
- restriction and objection: have a processing paused or stopped;
- portability: receive your data in a common file format;
- withdrawal: withdraw a consent you gave, at any time.
Email your request to info@fearlessjohn.be. We reply within one month. To be sure we are talking to the right person, we may ask you to confirm your identity.
Complaints
Not happy with how we handle your data? Tell us first: we would rather solve it ourselves. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian supervisory authority at any time:
